ADHD & Autism Practice Builder Programme

Structured professional development for clinicians.

The ADHD & Autism Practice Builder Programme is a structured six-month professional development pathway for qualified mental health professionals, in line with NICE guidelines, who want to strengthen their clinical expertise in neurodevelopmental assessments and post-diagnostic support while building the foundations of a sustainable independent practice.

Many clinicians complete ADHD or autism assessment training, but still face two common challenges.

First, clinical complexity.
Navigating differential diagnosis, overlapping presentations, masking, co-occurring mental health difficulties and diagnostic thresholds can feel overwhelming without structured support.

Second, practice development.
Turning specialist skills into a confident, ethical and financially sustainable independent practice requires clarity around positioning, boundaries, systems and professional identity, areas rarely covered in traditional training pathways.

This programme addresses both of these challenges.

Over six months, participants are supported to strengthen diagnostic reasoning and clinical confidence while developing the strategic, structural and mindset foundations needed to build and grow an independent neurodevelopmental assessment practice responsibly and sustainably.

The programme includes:

  • Advanced masterclasses exploring clinical nuance and complexity
  • Group coaching focused on applied case thinking and real-world professional challenges
  • One-to-one coaching with Dr Floriana Reinikis to support individual growth and decision-making
  • Mentorship within a network of practitioners working in ADHD and autism assessment
  • Practical guidance on establishing and maintaining an independent practice

Participants also gain access to the 2-Day ADHD Assessment and Diagnosis Training, with the option to follow either the Adult pathway or the Child and Adolescent pathway depending on their clinical scope.

This training has been commissioned and endorsed by several NHS organisations, including NHS Scotland for three consecutive years, and has supported clinicians across NHS and independent services to develop robust and ethically grounded assessment practice.

This is not simply additional CPD. It is a structured pathway for clinicians who want to practise with greater confidence, clarity and integrity while building a sustainable, values-led practice in neurodevelopmental assessment.
